Welcome to the Orangeburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated website.  Founded on January 13, 1913 by 22 women on the campus of Howard University, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is committed to providing assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world.  The Orangeburg Alumnae Chapter has an uncompromising commitment to serve the Orangeburg and Calhoun counties and our Sisterhood.

Chartered on July 12, 1943 as Alpha Tau Sigma Chapter, the Orangeburg Alumnae Chapter embraces the vision of our Founders by developing programs and activities that support the Sorority’s Five-Point Thrust:  Educational Development, Economic Development, International Awareness & Involvement, Physical & Mental Health and Political Awareness & Involvement.

As part of the South Atlantic Region, we are “Serving with Purpose and Dedication, Keeping it Sensational”.

Please visit our website to learn more about the programs and activities that we offer.  We hope that you will not only review the information on the website, but will also participate in our community programs and activities.
